about

FEF 54

Queen Kopetzky is a collaborative project by Guy Purssell and Thomas Pujols (Nebulo), who work out of Berlin and the South of France respectively.
Horsenames is a musical exploration of the impact of the horse on human life. The animal represents a diverse range of dependencies - it answers a necessity of travel, conjures a mystique surrounding the demigod status and is confined to a code and melancholy of racing and gambling. Composed between 2014 and 2016, the album envelops the listener in a deep, rich soundworld of blurred melody and intricate rhythmic constructions.
