about

Artaud is a improvisational project from Lima, led by guitarist Erick Baltodano, who explains:
"This album is about the life, passion, death and resurrection of two real-life Peruvian Paso horses, Cábala and Réplica. When such horses reach the age at which they can no longer ride, they lose their purpose and they can only hope to die in a stable. Cábala is a young horse that runs away to enjoy wildness without limits. Réplica is an old horse, who knows he will die, but is calm knowing that he will join the earth, which he recognizes as his own".
The album traces this story in a seamless psychedelic journey that encompasses free rock, blastbeat-fuelled sax skronk, cosmic synth, and Floydian prog.
Also available on CD on Necio Records and specially edited for this cassette version.
